"Recently I started to draw ideas in order to upload them then on Zazzle.
Since Halloween is getting closer, I thought of drawing something very traditional as a carved pumpkin and a black cat, but in a cute way.
Halloween doesn't  always have to be so frightening! ^_^

"I drew this cutie because I was hungry of biscuits (that sadly I didn't had in the cupboard! -__- SOB!). IHIHIHI! ^_^
I imagined that some little sneaky creature could be living in our home (in this case, in the kitchen!) and steal us food and sweets! Awwww! >_<  <3
So I had the idea to create a sign of beware and I hang it in my kitchen! XD AHAHAH! It's fun! ^_^

"I recently found on internet the existence of a stunning and rare flower called Jade Vine.
As I saw the picture of it, an idea popped into my head and so this illustration was born. ^_^
It took me almost a week to finish it also because it's pretty big for my standard (45x15cm - I tend to work on waaay smaller canvas!) and also because of my usual fear of ruin everything! AHAHAH! XD

"I drew those two by taking the hint from my current dog and my former cat, imagining them as puppies.
I'm going to turn them into two little painting to hang on my kitchen wall...well, this was the first idea... I still don't know if I'm really going to do so! :P EHEHE!

Passionflower's Fairy-Dragon

"I thought that it would be nice to make a series of painting about Fairy-Dragons and Flowers.
So, after the Roses, I decide to draw one of my favorite flowers: the Passionflower.
Since Passionflowers have a very exotic appearance, I imagined that their Fairy-Dragons (who are also their guardians and caretakers), should camouflaging like many exotic animal are used to, in order to survive. ^_^
It took me about 7 hours to finish it.
I can't wait to draw another Fairy-Dragon... I only need to decide which flower should I chose...Uhm.... It's hard! XD

"In the last weeks I found myself drawing cute dragons everywhere! (Well, actually I TRY to make them cute... ^_^' eheheh!).
This time I tried to represent a Fairy-Dragon (so a simple dragon but with butterfly wings).
I decided to draw it in a rose garden because I'm not so good in draw roses (they usually seem like a bunch of savoy cabbages! BUAHAHAHAHAH!  Dreadful! XD), so it was also an excuse to improve. ^_^
It took me 2 days to finish it, but it was quite fun to colour it!

Losing a friend...

"I drew this little witch right after the loss of my cat, almost 1 year ago...
I was so depressed that, at the end, I couldn't even look at this drawing without tears on my cheeks.
Now I found the courage to color it (even if it was still hard to do so ç__ç SOB!) and I'm quite glad of the result.

" Tonight I dreamt about this little guy... I swear that I can't remember that dream at all, but this morning I woke up and find it still hanging around inside my head. XD
I had to draw it! *__*
I really don't know why it had a tooth in its hands, but I decided to keep it as I "saw" in my dream. ^_^

"Here I am! ^_^

After almost a year I can finally dedicate myself again to what I like the most: draw! XD

This was a very busy-busy year and my head is still so full of stuff to do that I have few spare time. Anyway I'm gonna use this precious time to keep drawing and colouring! ^_^

This here in particular is my way to wish you all a very beautiful and joyful Christmas and also a happy 2016!

Lòmea Hiswe

"Her name is Lòmea Hiswe (that in Quenya, the language of Elves means "Twilight Fog") and she is my character in a role-playing game that I'm playing with my boyfriend, my sister and her husband and my friends. ^_^
She is a half-elf that was cursed by someone that she still doesn't know, and his searching is the reason why she is travelling.
She also wants to get back to normal, in order to go back to her forest where she was living as priestess.
Now that she is cursed, she is almost tall 1,80m and has many powers deriving by the wolf. ^_^
She is ashamed of her aspect and so she tries everytime to cover as much as possible herself when she is sorrounded by many people.
She is a great warrior and also a good magician, she can talk to animal and hear thing from an high distance.
The more I go on with the RPG, the more her personality grows and gets deeper.
I really love playing RPG because is a game based on imagination and everything is possible! *_*

"During a workshop with the illustrator Maja, she gave us the task to think of 12 illustrations for a calendar that were part of a bigger illustration. The difficult was that each and every illustration had to represent something to his own.
So, at the end, everyone had 12 "stories" that were part of a bigger story. ^_^
It was sooo exciting!!! XD
I had the idea to show what really happen during the 10th of August, "St. Lorenzo's night".
As every italian knows, St. Lorenzo's night is the night of the shooting stars.
In my illustration the stars are falling some of them hitting the floor, some other on the trees and one is also helped by a bat! XD ahahah!
The funny thing is that people don't notice it. ^_^
The black and white picture is the project in total and i used ink.
For the coloured illustration, I used pencils."

"She actually is a side character of my story, but everybody fell in love with her cute glance. Ihihih! ^_^
She is one of the "troubles" that I was talking about in the previuos post, even if she was only searching for some tasty leaf ! XD ahahah!
Also this, as the first illustration, is made on canvas, coloured with watercolor and pencils."

My Thesis project

"As yesterday I finally did my thesis, I can now show the illustrations of my project. ^_^
This in particular is the first one.
The story is about a little pixie that wants to know how to be an adult, so he decide to begin a journey to find it out without anybody's help.
During this journey, he meet someone very special that wants to stand by his side and also so many troubles to go through! XD
I used watercolor and coloured pencils on canvas for almost all illustrations of the book."

"I drew this little puppy using a picture of my sister's dog (that is a Cocker Spaniel) as hint. He is sooo adorable !!! *_* I Love him so much!

The guardian of winter

"Every year there is a tiny robin that flies in my garden and his presence tells me that winter has arrived.
Almost every day I feed him with some crumb of bread that I usually leave on my balcony and, when I turn around to go back inside the house, he flies over the bread and starts to eat.
When I look back at him, he's watching me with his little round black eyes, just like he wants to say "Thank's a lot!".
 I think that Spring is coming soon because I don't see him for days... I hope to see him next year too. ^_^

"For my first Thesis I chose to illustrate a book that I really appreciate because of its surreal backgrounds and, first of all, because it was about a labyrinth, the main theme of my project.
The book's title is Der Spiegel im Spiegel written by the german Michael Ende (one of my favorite writers ever!).
This in particular is the cover of the book, where I chose to describe one of the most famous labyrinth in the history: the one of the legend of Icarus.
It was a very hard job, but I like it very much because this book gives you a lot of inspirations! ^_^
In this work I used coloured pencils, felt-tip pen and PC."

"I drew this cute couple of dachshunds because my sister in law asked me to do a birthday postcard for her father.
These in fact were his beloved dogs; so she gave me a picture of them in order to allow me of taking hint from it. The technique I used is coloured pencils."

In this version I first used the technique of etching on zinc, and then I colored it with watercolor and pencils.
It's a bit more complicated and a bit more detailed than the first one.
